If we like our life, often our actions are aligned with what is most important to us. When life feels like it isn’t quite right, it is usually because we are reacting to it versus charting a path with courage. This quick video “Make It Count” by Casey Neistat had two insights that I liked in particular:
“Action expresses priorities” – – Ghandi
“Do one thing everyday that scares you” — Eleanor Roosevelt
Whenever I feel stuck or out of sync, there are a few questions I ask myself:
Am I putting time on the things that matter most to me? If not, I need to turn my priorities into an actionable step.
Have I used my courage muscle today to take a risk? If not, I ask myself — “what is the worst thing that could happen if I took the risk?” “Could I live with that?” If I answer yes, I try to take a step forward because I know life will be more interesting and rewarding.
