The two men racing in the pool know each other like a craftsmen knows his favorite tool. Who do you know like this? Are the relationships in your life such that you have a “two laps” story in the future? I am reminded of my father’s saying, “to have a good friend you have to be a good friend.” I think I am picking up the phone and calling the oldest friend in my life to schedule a race!
